My role at DataPath, Inc. includes several functions and changes on a daily basis. Some of the things I do involve writing up specifications, testing new features, reviewing changes, and serving as a team leader for development projects.

What do you envision as the most important function of your department?
Quality Assurance works with our development teams to provide applications that are both efficient and user friendly.

How do you see your department developing / improving in 5 years?
I see the QA department being increasingly involved in the both the development and design of our applications. This would be more from a user and business aspect instead of technical aspect.

What is the best thing about your job?
Managing all the various activities I’m involved with and coordinating with other departments.

What is the most challenging thing about your job?
Working with 3rd party tools or other limitations. Very often it’s not possible to see future complications when attempting to implement these features within our systems.

What is your work background?
My work background includes everything from working in a County Jail, Construction, and being a Financial Advisor. I also have experience in technical support with Bell South. Outside of these various day jobs I have also worked as a Server off and on since high school and currently manage a steak house a couple nights a week.

I graduated from Arkansas State University with a BS in Business from the Management Information Systems Department.

Jonesboro, AR

Family Information
I’m single with no kids. My Parents, Brother, and Sister live in Knoxville, TN. My Grandparents live in Jonesboro, AR.

Hobbies
I am currently remodeling a house; which takes up a lot of time. My other interests include motorcycles, playing darts, and having as much fun as I can.
