DataPath Featured in the Wall Street Journal

DataPath was recently featured in an article about health care costs for small businesses and wellness programs. The article, entitled “Providing Health Benefits on a Budget”, focused on how small employers are finding new solutions to deal with the rising cost of healthcare while still managing to provide benefits for their employees.

The article highlighted things such as My Wellchoice+, an integral part of DataPath’s

DataPath played host to almost 30 clients in Dallas on June 18th to discuss the upcoming launch of the new mySourceCard® which is being enhanced through the clearinghouse connectivity of RelayHealth.

HEART Act signed into law

The Heroes Earnings Assistance and Relief Act of 2008, which was recently signed into law by President Bush, is a new law whose purpose is to address the payments made to individuals who have been called to active military service.

Revised Mileage Rates

In Announcement 2008-63, the IRS has informed taxpayers of modifications to the optional standard mileage rates for computing the deductible costs of operating automobiles for business, medical, or moving expense purposes and determining reimbursement amounts.

The revised standard mileage rates are:
(1) Business - 58.5 cents per mile
(2) Medical and moving - 27 cents per mile
