American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations Publish 2008 Study of Consumer-Directed Health Plans

The American Association of Preferred Provider Organizations (AAPPO) has released the results of its second annual study of Consumer-Directed Health Plans. The AAPPO found that many of the trends in Consumer Directed Health Plans from 2006 carried over into 2007.

IRS updates Publication 969

The IRS has recently released an updated version of Publication 969 for use in preparing tax returns for the 2007 fiscal year. Publication 969 pertains to tax favored health accounts, including information regarding Health Savings Accounts, Health Reimbursement Arrangements, Flexible Spending Accounts, Archer Medical Savings Accounts, and Medicare Advantage Medical Savings Accounts.

Susan Luskin Receives Stanley Greenspun Memorial Award

DataPath would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Susan Luskin, President of Diversified Administration, Inc. on receiving the Stanley Greenspun Memorial Health Person of the Year Award.

The award was first established in 1986 to in memory of Stanley Greenspun, a longtime member of the Broward Association of Health Underwriters (BAHU). The BAHU present the honor each year to an individual who has gone above and beyond, showing both selfless and tireless efforts toward improving the health insurance industry and raising public awareness.
