Final HIPAA Nondiscrimination
and Wellness Program Regulations.

The departments of Health and Human Services, Labor and Treasury have issued final regulations on the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act’s group health plan nondiscrimination and wellness plan rules. The final regulations are effective February 12, 2007 and apply for plan years beginning on or after July 1, 2007.
