myHSAToday(tm) Releases Revolutionary Claims VaultSM Technology

Heath Savings Account (HSA) Administration has entered a new era today with the release of the patent-pending Claims VaultSM   feature of myHSAToday(tm).

Instead of people keeping their receipts haphazardly in shoeboxes stuck in the back of their closets, they can store and organize them in the Claims VaultSM provided by the patent-pending platform of myHSAToday(tm). With the Claims VaultSM technology, document files containing the receipts can be attached to the claim records presented on the web platform. Expenses incurred today can safely be reimbursed months or even years later with a few clicks of the mouse. If elected to do so, the PSP can certify the receipts as qualified for reimbursement.

myHSAToday(tm) is the only solution in the marketplace that offers this unique service, thus giving the account holder an incentive to retain their PSP's services if the account holder changes employers or HDHP carriers. This powerful tool positions the PSP the center of the HSA program by allowing the PSP to serve in dual rolls: serving (1) as the Plan Service Provider to the Employer and (2) as the Personal HSA Assistant to the Account Holder.

Administrative Challenges in Implementing § 125 FSA Grace Period

DataPath has been receiving many inquiries about the recent legislation providing an additional two months to incur and receive payments for expenses under a Flexible Spending Account. (Click here to read the article in last month's newsletter giving the details of this legislation.)

Even small changes create ripples, and this change certainly does. Here are some of the administrative challenges that we expect to meet:

DataPath Staff Busy Updating DPI-125 to Include § 125 FSA Grace Period

DataPath's programming staff is hard at work on an update to DPI-125 to accommodate the new § 125 Grace Period for FSAs. We plan to have a comprehensive solution to you on or before October 1.

Users will be notified as soon as the update is available. We caution you not to try to administer a Grace Period before that time. Support for difficulties arising from such administration is not covered under your Support Agreement.

Have Fun at DataPath's
2005 Annual Conference!

If you have attended one of DataPath's Annual Conferences, you already know about the great speakers and topics we have. If you haven't attended or heard about them, be assured they are great! That said, let's talk about the fun you can expect at Grand Casino - Tunica.

Among the activities are golfing, trap and skeet shooting, and great outlet shopping. Plus you are only 20 miles from Memphis with all its attractions.

Bring your kids. Kid's Quest offers education and entertainment for children 6 weeks to 12-years-old, and teens can visit the Grand Arcade with its video games and games of skill.

myRSC: Export Ability Added to Employer Payment History Screen!

You can now export Payments and Claims information from the Employer Payment History screen on myRSC.com. Before, the Employer Payment History page only allowed a user to view or print payments and claims. The claims were grouped according to payments. If one check paid for ten separate claims, there was only one item.

The updated page now allows the user to export comma-separated value (.csv) files that can be downloaded to the user's local computer. The user has the option of choosing either the Payment Level Export or the Claim Level Export.
