Latest on DataPath's Debit Card:
Everything's on Go for mySourceCard

The pairing of DataPath's Debit Card and Credit Card will enable you to "deal with a full deck" when you talk to your clients. When they ask if you offer a Card, you can reply, "Yes, of course we do. Which would you like, a credit card or a debit card?" Only with DataPath products can a Plan Service Provider (PSP) say that!

As you can see below, mySourceCardis ready for you to offer the Debit Card to your clients who have a plan year beginning January 1, 2005. Here's the status:

Marketing Materials.  The Marketing Materials have been approved by MasterCard® and are ready to be mailed to Debit Card licensees.

  • Employer Brochure.  Brochure to be given to Employer.
  • Employee Brochure.  Brochure to be given to Employee.
  • Employee Poster.  Poster announcing meeting time, place, and date. (Ask about customized overlay possibilities.)
  • Check Stuffers. Three versions are available to be put into employees' check envelope.

Enrollment Packages. Licensees of the Debit Card can now download the Employee and Employer Enrollment Packages including the document set. The document set includes:

  • Implementation Process.  Step-by-step instructions for signing up employers and employees and issuing cards to cardholders.
  • Implementation Checklist.  Complete list of required documents.
  • Employer Letter.  Welcome letter from the PSP to the Employer.
  • Settlement Account Agreement.  Agreement between DataPath Card Services and the Employer.
  • Settlement Account Application.  Application to be completed by the Employer.
  • Enrollment Agreement. Stand-alone agreement to be completed by the Employee.
  • Enrollment Agreement with Salary Reduction Agreement (SRA).  Agreement integrated with the SRA for Cafeteria Plans.

Update to Software Systems. Updates to the software systems will be available by mid-December. For current Credit Card clients, this will be just an update to their current systems. New Card clients will need to schedule a time with DataPath to install the new systems, convert to the Global Claims Processing (GCP) system (see article in the May 2004 newsletter), and update their existing systems.

Card Creation. DataPath will begin to accept requests to create Debit Cards for employees on January 1, 2005. You should allow 7 – 10 days for delivery of the Cards.

Software Training. Software training will be held in Little Rock. The training for current Credit Card (myResourceCard®) clients is scheduled for December 14 (8:30 – 5:00). Training for all others will be held December 16 (8:30 – 5:00) through December 17 (8:30 – 3:00).

Website. DataPath's new website, www.mysourcecard.com, explaining all the features and benefits of offering a mySourceCard is now open.

Call Baker Bush (1-800-633-3841, Ext. 204) today and sign up for the Debit Card. DataPath users presently licensed for the Credit Card may have license credits that can be used to offset the initial debit card license fee. Baker will tell you if you qualify.
