What will OMS do for me?Operations Management System (OMS) will be released in phases. The OMS phase 1, “Batch Processing on Steroids”, will provide the ability to select multiple employers, reports, letters, notices from multiple lines of service (LOS) and to set the frequency (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) for when to process the batch. Phase 1 will also include the Report Binder, which has the ability to combine many reports and/or letters into a binder for an employer for a specific event, such as open enrollment. Distribution Component will then allow the user to either print, push the report up to myRSC, or send a file to fulfillment for printing and mailing. Batch Processing makes more efficient use of the administrator’s time; therefore making it more cost effective. OMS phase 2 will add the ability to flag events (Event Ticker) and what reports or letters to print based on those events and to put them in a Batch Que to be processed. From the batch que, the ability to view, process, or delete will be available before sending documents through to the distribution component. OMS phase 2 will also feature the Customer Service Menu. The customer service menu is a single point of access to participant data. OMS phase 3 will provide more operational efficiencies by offering audit reports of adds, edits, and deletes made through dot prompt changes in the data tables. It will also provide operational efficiencies through management reports off the customer service menu. OMS, What’s coming? More sort filters, customization of reports within OMS, emails letting employers know that the reports have been uploaded to myRSC, and enhancements based on requests from you, the users of OMS phase 1 and phase 2. Stayed tuned! |
