DataPath at the Innovations in CDH Payments

John Robbins, Jr attended this year’s conference in Vegas.  The conference was attended by industry leaders in the fields of Card Vendors, Card Processors, Card Associates, Consultants, Health Plans and Data Integrators.  Now that the potential roadblocks to integration of custom card services have been overcome, the shift of conferences such as this has been toward looking toward the future.  As a provider of integrated CDHP card services, DataPath is excited that the future of card services appears to be a bright one with limitless potential.

DataPath at the Employers Council on Flexible Compensation

This year’s ECFC Cafeteria Plan Symposium focused on the future of flexible compensation in the light of new regulation on the industry. John Robbins, Sr. participated on the Electronic Payment Card Expert Panel at the 19th Annual Administrators Symposium in Dallas, Texas this August. The panel consisted of industry leaders, including both Visa and Master Card, as well as card providers for the CDH market. The panel addressed how the new IRS guidance would impact how claims are processed and how it would affect Benefit Card plan administration.

DataPath at the Society for Professional Benefit Administrators

John Robbins, Sr., Glen Hoffman, and Ben Robbins attended SPBA Conference in Kansas City, Missouri this September. The Conference was held to discuss the how large employers who are self-funded affect the healthcare market place in coordination with Consumer Driven Health Administrators. In the world of self-funded healthcare, the employer acts as the primary healthcare provider. As a TPA that caters to self-funding employers, DataPath will be there to learn more about how the CDH market is being influenced as more and more large employers opt to take the self-funding route.

DataPath at the National Association of Professional Benefit Administrators

DataPath’s presence will be felt at this year’s NAPBA Regional Conference in Orlando, Florida this October. Jason Lee will be speaking on the changing environment of communications and automation technologies. The conference, from October 12th through 13th, will cover topics of discussion including the evolution of Universal and Consumer Driven Health Plans, how debit cards and other technologies are affecting the healthcare market, and the latest on the ever changing government regulations on benefits and benefit services.
