DaraPath Alert

May 26, 2009

DataPath Clients,

In an Alert released Friday, May 22nd, we informed you of proposals being considered by the Senate Finance Committee which could jeopardize the future of FSAs, HRAs, HSAs, and the health care system as we currently know it. As stated in that Alert, it is imperative that all of us in the Consumer Driven Health marketplace make our voices known as soon as possible, before the issue reaches the floors of the House and Senate.

It is important to contact not only the members of the Senate Finance Committee, but also your individual Representatives and Senators.

The Employers Council on Flexible Compensation has provided an excellent form letter which you can use when contacting legislators. To access this letter, click here. It is the “Draft Document” on the first page of the link. Links to legislators are listed below.

For Contact information for the members of the Senate Finance Committee, click here.

For Contact information of your Senators, click here.

For Contact information for your members of the House of Representatives, click here.

It is also imperative that you enlist your employer groups in the campaign as well. We have prepared a sample letter to make the process as simple as possible. The letter also has the ECFC form letter link, as well as the Congressional contact links imbedded. But it may be more effective if you were to look up the addresses of your respective Legislators and supply them to your employer groups when you send the letter.

To access the sample letter to employers, click here.

And we are also developing a website, capitolhill.dpath.com, where we will post Alerts, informative links, and form letters as the situation unfolds. Please check back later for more information.

Thank you,
DataPath, Inc.
